He stressed that 82% of Salta's workers are involved in the construction phase, with the aspiration of reaching an initial production of 24,000 tons per year in the production phase, with a view to increasing it to 75,000 tons.To illustrate this commitment, he highlighted an investment of $17 billion in Salta during the first half of the year, involving 263 local suppliers.Posco and its Lithium Hydroxide ProductionVicente Arias, from the firm Posco, presented the Sal de Oro Project, focussed on the production of lithium hydroxide in the Salar del Hombre Muerto, and with a phase in the so-called cooperation zone between Salta and Catamarca.Arias reported that the construction of commercial plant 1 began in 2022, with a projected annual production of 25,000 tons of lithium hydroxide.
