According to Argentina's Mining Secretariat, the five main mining provinces exported US$ 377 million last month, contributing to a year-on-year accumulation of US$ 2.3 billion. It is interesting that the main province, Santa Cruz, which accounts for a little more than 40.5% has its agenda strongly based on the Exploration and Production of Gold, Silver, with emphasis on projects of AngloGold Ashanti, HOCHSCHILD and Newmont Corporation, all in the field of production. Santa Cruz is located in the Argentine Southwest, therefore far from the Triangle of the #Lithium. San Juan, the second province in export, near Mendonza, and also in the Argentine Northwest, responds in the accumulated of the year for 23.0%, having prominence in its agenda besides gold and silver, also copper and molybdenum, acting both in the field of exploration and production. Companies such as Mineros S.A., Barrick Gold Corporation / Shandong Gold and Glencore develop activities in the region. The Third Province is JuJuy, in the extreme Argentine Northwest (NOA), which accounts for 21.5% in the accumulated of the year, and assumes in the production of the #Lithium a prominent position, with the projects of the Olaroz Salt Flats, Allkem Limited and Cauchari Olaroz, in the initial phase of production, Lithium Americas Corp. and GanfengLithium. In addition to #Lítio, a mineral critical for the Energy Transition, JuJuy also has production of gold, silver, lead and zinc, with emphasis on the SSR Mining Inc. Mining project in the Puna Operations project. Also according to the announcement of the Mining Secretariat of the country, the province of Salta, in the NOA, appears in the fourth position, with US$ 172 Million accumulated in the year, contributing with 7.4% of exports, with emphasis on the exploration and production of copper, gold, molybdenum and silver. Important projects in the Pre-Feasibility Studies phase alongside projects under construction in #Lithium are in the province. Río Tinto's Salares del Rincón, Pastos Grandes da Lithium Americas Corp. and Eramet's Centenary Ratones are some of the 10 projects that exist in Salta at different times in the life cycle. Finally, Catamarca with 5.9% appears in the fifth position, with emphasis on gold, silver and copper, in addition to Lithium, with emphasis on the Livent Phoenix project in the production phase and Antofalla / Albemarle Corporation, in the exploration phase. This shows Argentina's potential as a major player in the lithium industry by the end of this decade, threatening Chile's position as second after Australia. Fact that Vale do Jequitinhonha is very far from being a Salta, or even Catamarca, and who will say Jujuy. But it is necessary to walk seeking investments for the Lithium Valley Jequitinhonha and public policies for the territory, not forgetting the Densification of the Lithium Knowledge Chain in the Valley. This is the great positive legacy that the Mining Companies that are here have to be able to Plan and Manage so that we actually have a Responsible Mining in the Jequitinhonha Valley
