Yep, agreed. It might be a play to prop up other industries while their real estate market is faltering. As much as I hate to quote Joe Lowry, he recently mentioned that "he doesn't care where the spot price goes as anything under US$25k is unsustainable." He mentioned that China might drive the price lower for a few months, but ultimately it will have to return to that level or higher. I tend to agree on this.
Current events reek of CCP manipulation, and I think the spot trajectory will be heading north again before Xmas.
