This workshop included the participation of community leaders from the influential company Puna Mining, which works together with the Ministry of the Environment.

In an effort to address the growing concern over environmental pollution and proper waste management, the Environment Secretariat of the municipality of San Antonio de los Cobres organized an impactful workshop on Environmental Management today.

The event, which attracted the attention of primary school students and engaged residents, focused on the need to properly classify solid waste into three essential categories: organic, reusable and recyclable. This measure is proposed as an effective means to reduce the dizzying accumulation of garbage that affects the town and, ultimately, combat the growing environmental pollution.

What stood out in this workshop was the participation of community leaders from the influential company Puna Mining, which works together with the Ministry of the Environment in this important initiative. The collaboration between this company and the local government has been essential to carry out the event effectively.

The young primary school students and neighbors who joined the workshop made clear their desire for positive change. This initiative is not only a first step towards a cleaner municipality, but also a call to action for a community that is more aware and committed to environmental management.Despite being an event of the Ministry of the Environment, this workshop is no exception in the growing awareness about the importance of environmental management in our town.
