Shorters will gather pace to close their positions, a rapid increase sometimes is indicative of the final piece of manipulation before they turn positions.
Contrary to the asx bs, shorters are most led by institutions that coordinate efforts to drop share price. This is somethings long do not do in the absense of news.
The bs line is shorting provides liquidity and a fair market, but there is no rational reason to discount agy to 4 x 2ktpa p/e, given the growth potential we should be on 20x p/e at least which is circa 800m or 80c
But Thats the game, shorting does provide multiple opportunities for long terms to get in cheap whilst they wait for the asset to get into production.
