Those figures are also referring to light-vehicles only.

I mean who knows EV sales could still continue on the rise, yet still will pale in the big picture. Still a long way to go, which is why you can't not shake your head at statements like "oil burning cars being relics" by the end of the decade.

You make a comment like that as if we have had global reductions in carbon emissions that have continued to trend down. Why would we take away incentives any time soon knowing that is the case, while knowing we have hardly cut the incentives for fossil fuels as it stands.
