    Yeah, I remember that. Sure they've got a 10 line disclaimer caveating like "from an Australian controlled company, from rock based extraction methods, based in Australian shores". Who reads footnotes nowadays.

    Also, the below is from a GLN presentation. AGY is the tiny dot with high level of impurities and low concentration. No wonder why AGY got that bad reputation.

    My feeling is that it's been a race to show the biggest and best resource while completely missing on explaining how they plan to get it out from the brine to the buyer.

    I often laugh with colleagues whenever someone says "Battery Grade" as if they meant a product class/type. A little bit like saying "Pink lady apples!". I am sorry to say battery grade Li carbonate does not grow from the ground ready to be bagged. It is all about the industrial process.
