.....agreed......additionally......EV charging stations are being designed into houses/apartment complexes more and more. It's obviously becoming the norm and more economical to do so if your building new. It's still an expensive exercise when your retrofitting older places as the rules needing to be adhered to are quite onerous and costly. Not everyone has the cash to splash on a domestic (in-garage) unit and then retrofit all the garage walls and ceiling linings for fire protection etc.... to install one of these chargers. The fire-resisting construction is just not feasible in some cases, let alone the cost of panels, batteries etc. So definitely new-builds are more efficient.....but i suppose, if you can afford to buy electric you're likely to have the cash for the remaining infrastructure..... So buying an EV vehicle in some (most).......IMO is only 1/2 the cost.
