It’s a tough gig making cars. The quantity and quality of engineering required is a huge task and a lot can go wrong. That’s why legacy car makers have that inherent advantage because they’ve got it down to a fine art and still the profit margin isn’t really that great either. Apple is smart to just focus on what they’re good at and leave it at that.
