Thank you Hellman for posting these images of the British Geo Survey workshop. It is smart of Puna Mining to demonstrate their understanding of the importance of environmental, social and governance issues. The extractive industries have a bad name by default, so companies who can ‘walk the talk’ and demonstrate their environmental stewardship (as opposed to many of the unregulated mines in China and Africa for instance), will attract ’green’ investors. So, apart from the fact that this is the right thing to do, green investment is increasingly relevant, and should not be underestimated for its positive effects for AGY into the future. I hope to see more of this from AGY and their Puna Team colleagues. Bravo.
