From the GLN ann, it suggests that lithium chloride is not allowed to be exported from Argentina, hence they require Glencore to buy and then toll-treat the lithium chloride at a third-party facility to produce lithium carbonate. I do not know who they use to toll-treat their chloride.
From their ann, GLN will only produce lithium chloride from their evaporation ponds which are currently being constructed to produce by 2025. i am not aware what the status is of the agreement with Glencore.

I'm not sure they will even be able to ship it to another plant on a different salar in Argentina from an EIA perspective.

A study would need to be done to take solution from one salar and return it to another.

Let slone another country. Except China who dgaf.
