Riggghhhtttt……. So if “70 or 80%” would so eagerly accept a deal for around “300 to 400mil”, then why didn’t they take the money on market and run at double that price, only 12-18 months ago?!
A: because IMO many/most holders expected/expect to realise better gains than that as the company moves towards its ultimate goal of becoming a +10ktpa producer.
Traders might jump at a quick gain, sure, but afaict there are plenty of large holders who didn’t bail at higher prices.
I’m not sure how you can simply assume that 70/80% would sell out now (with NO prospect of re-entry) for a price significantly lower than where we were just circa 12 months ago?! Are you assuming that? Seems like it.
