This looks to be Cannacord getting the news out ahead of a raise mate. There’s been several websites framing this in a very positive way, widely reported as “broker slaps buy rating on AGY”. It feels very deliberate, with an obvious motivation behind the reporting.
The reality of the situation is that Cannacord maintained their buy rating and cut their price target by 23%. There’s only one reason that websites would be reporting that in a positive manner…
