What gets me is that people pay $5k extra for a sunroof, premium speakers, paint options etc, yet $5k would basically double the battery size?!?!
Trying to save a few bucks by keeping the battery small is false economy imo.
But, horses for courses.
Even that 262km range is far more than most people need for most trips. In a dual car household, something small and low range would actually be a perfectly suitable daily car.
But yes, trying to make a solve-all with something that won’t handle a weekend drive to the coast and back without charging is not really sensible for many!
Looking forward to the many new offerings coming out over the next couple of years!
I’m sure there’ll be a horse for everyone’s course!
