AFAIK you are correct that there were over 1 billion shares on issue prior to the announcement of the share placement on 8th Feb 2021.

Jezza seems to have his numbers a little mixed up.

I bet that most here had/have no idea of what those numbers were and whether his 900M was accurate or not; it seems imo that the “support” is for the call for JZ to get the funding deal sorted! Simple as that.
Easy to rally weary troops who all want to see a funding deal!

imo, as stated earlier, IF we need some more $$ to get the 2ktpa plant humming along, it’s hardly the end of the world; it might be say 5% dilution or somewhere in that ballpark. What’s the option… pull up stumps and walk away from the project? LOL…
In round numbers, it appears we’ve had about a year of setback due to unforeseen issues with getting the plant operating continuously, and imo we must accept that chews through some dollars.

It’s not ideal of course but it is what it is, and imo anyone “shocked” if another say $10M is needed hasn’t been paying attention or is simply playing the “disaster” card.
Perspective required.
If it were easy, there’d be a dozen other juniors overtaking us.
