Seems they're not "mothballing" production at all. In fact, Albemarle plan to increase production by another 80 ktpa (from 2023 production rates) by the end of next year, and another 50 ktpa on top of that by 2027. Combined with the 30 ktpa increase from SQM, there's an additional 110 ktpa LCE coming online from just those two companies within the next 18 months. For context, that's equivalent to an additional 55 (yes 55) Rincons by the end of next year.........
