"Medium term if the macro crash gets ugly it will hold the AGY SP down for some time, but even in that scenario, AGY will do extremely well long term because a lower lithium spot price and weaker economic conditions will retard global investment in new lithium projects, reducing supply going forward (don't forget how long it takes to get a lithium mine from scratch to production, and keep in mind that even some of the half-baked lithium hopefuls will be seriously delayed by weakened economics, but we're in a much better position now). Demand for lithium can ramp up much more quickly than supply can."
