Stage 2 (2 ktpa) commissioning and ramp-up were meant to be complete this time 2 years ago. Now 2 years overdue, and still only producing under 10% of nameplate, doesn't feel like a raging success to me. It's not an absolute failure, but AGY have absolutely failed to deliver on timeline guidance or capitalise on a hot market.

At least they learned their lesson about timeline guidance somewhere along the way, changing Stage 3 guidance from 8 quarters to 8 halves, consequently doubling the development timeline. Probably should have done that the first time around.

Even if AGY can somehow miraculously attract Stage 3 funding before the end of this year, they still won't even be starting to ramp-up the Stage 3 plant until 2028 according to their own timeline, and that's only if things go well and they can actually stick to their own timeline. Noting that Stage 2 delivery is already 2 years overdue, I wouldn't be assuming any notable production from Stage 3 until the 2030's.
