Who cares who's producing and who isn't? Investment returns are all I care about. CXO (which you hold) is (sorry was) a producer, and how's that working out? SYA (which you also hold) is also a producer, and are selling at a significant loss. AGY is producing tiny amounts at great cost. It's literally a pilot-plant scale operation (as JZ described it), operating at less than 10% of capacity. You say they "can sell a product right now", yet they haven't, because they clearly are struggling to lock in a customer, and have done for years. It's no good producing a product for which you have no customer, that gets expensive after a while, and then you have to cap raise (oh wait, that just happened).
Call me crazy, but I'm quite comfortable holding a non-producing company that has just effectively picked up A$1b worth of infrastructure (Renard) for cents on the dollar ($52m), while AGY are yet to figure out where they'll find their $350-400m in CAPEX for Stage 3. Good luck with that.
