If we look back, lithium price started to fall of the cliff right after CATL announced their battery discount offer of 20% to it's Chinese OEMs in early 2023 not because GS or MS talk down the lithium demand before that. It was all perfectly designed by those Chinese big players or possibly the government behind it to dominate the Global EV market. They are pretty close to achieve it at the moment and if they do I believe we won't see any price uprise anytime soon.
