wow brother, relax...
so much use of the word "screwed", we'll be fine....
we haven't suddenly gone down to the 8c range because suddenly the market is fed up of waiting for AGY and the company problems have become "too much" and we're heading to 3c on that fact alone. No. Not at all.
We're seeing this plunge due to lithium pricing plunges. It's alllll part of the cycle. The same cycle that creates a deficit in the future. If AGY did literally nothing and sat on its hands, it would see at leeeast 30c on the next lithium bull wave (albeit years away) anyway. Due to the fact we currently have no debt, there is no "AGY going broke, and needing to go into administration" kind of scenario.
The worst that happens (literally worst case) is AGY keep diluting shares to keep the lights on. Of which the amount of dilution will be offset by the next lithium bull wave in context to what the prices are now.
e.g. we require 25% dilution just to keep the lights on over the next 2-3 years. Compare that 25% dilution to the 250% gain we experience to head to at least 30c on the next bull wave.
These figures are "horrible case scenario", and yeeears of pablo getting the 2t plant to work.
Does this help calm you down fella?

Anyway, now for some insightful news:
saw a post on X today explaining China's intentions and ability to manipulate the spot price.
How it works is many of the chinese battery makers are vertically integrated, so they happily take the loss on the lithium side of the business and use the battery profits to cover their bases. Meanwhile, this keeps their lithium feedstock cheap for the batteries, and it creates pressure on western world lithium miners (win/win for them).
Let it be known that this same concept was in play when lithium hit 100k AUD a tonne. When deficits get extreme its not possible to keep it down anymore.
Also, to combat that - some of the western miners are using auctions to sell their lithium instead to assist with determining the "real" and "fair" value of their lithium. These prices have been around the 15k USD mark, compared to the current ~13k USD mark, so not tooooo different really, although some difference.
cheers all.
