Got to love media and their adjectives.

To replace 1.4B passenger cars (est world wide) over the next 50 years requires 56 Million kt of Li Carbonate. Lets take 80% of that say 45 Millions kt. Or each year on average or approx 1M kt PA. The current predicted forward average is something like 300 kt PA YOY so may take more than 50 years to replace all passenger vehicles if they ALL can be replaced. Probably not.

So lets run with the lower of 300 kt PA yoy. That's an increase or expansion of 12 x 25kt PA processing plants PA YOY.

The demand volume is there all we need is the move to the lower tier EV which hopeful Tesla triggers in early August with the announcement of a Model 2 or similar and robo taxi.

All these adjectives pointing to doom and gloom and blaming EV's which STILL HAVE A 25-30% YOY growth is ridiculous.
