Is something broken in your skull? The arguments you are putting forward make no sense at all. VW is not Nokia. The USA is not Nokia.
VW have strongly adopted EV’s, most of which they sell in China, contrary to your comments about their inability to compete. The USA is responsible for the company that started it all (Tesla), demonstrating that their car industry is far from dead, and the numbers show that.
So I have no idea what the point is that you are trying to make, if there is even a point in there at all.
