Don't be too hard on yourself mate. Anyone that tries to invest in the market has won, lost, been in a winning position and been in a losing position.
It's how you react to it and what you learn - as you surely know.
It's taken me a long time to be disciplined around my rule set I've built up over many years. Even still that discipline gets broken some times. The only rule I stick to religiously is my capital size allocation, that way if I get weak and lax a rule the damage is accounted for.
Even a rule set gets tested when you have politics and gov backed manipulation at play.
I've started my entry here (and elsewhere) given the spot action and some big players movements of late.
Time will tell.
On a side note I went on a cruise a few weekends back and the husband of a friend of my wife, who is a geo, told me he is sitting on a large drawdown on Li stocks waiting for Li 3.0.
Plenty of company out there.
