Milei followed in Trump's footsteps in creating a meme coin (called Libra), and of course without delay it failed spectacularly. Now there's calls for his impeachment for running such a scam.
His opposition looks to be taking full advantage of this, and I believe a full investigation will ensue along with an address in front of congress.
The big question is what does lithium look like in Argentina without Milei? If he's impeached, will his successor be as open minded? There's also a risk of policy changes depending on who takes over.
AGY risk profile just went up another notch (along with any other small-time operator in that region), at least until this is sorted one way or another.
