You know what's much more consistent than a TH announcement being for CRs? Shareholders being upset about them and the shareprice falling because of them! Generally they take people by surprise, in this case it's a sure thing.

You're forgetting the reality that even if the plant did work, which it doesn't (and they don't even know how to make it work, or build one which does!), they still wouldn't be able to run it, because it wouldn't generate income, it would burn capital, and they're out of money, so even if they were stupid enough to want to run it, they couldn't. That being the case, it's highly unlikely anything would want to throw hundreds of millions of dollars at them to build a larger version of a money-burning facility. But given it probably wouldn't work even if someone did give them the money, and even if it did work, at current prices it would cost money to operate... you join the dots.

Indeed, even the big companies backed by huge money are struggling... you say that like it somehow doesn't make AGY's situation much, much worse. Yes. Even well-resourced giants are struggling. AGY is a minnow without resources to continue and they have clearly shown everyone that they don't know what they're doing. It's a totally valid point if you're making the case for the company being something to run away from.
