To be fair, it's one thing to get people's hopes up with their optimistic sounding word salad and another actually doing it successfully. We know this is nothing new, what's released in their announcements = has never panned out IRL.
IMO their way forward would be selling Rincon for whatever they can get for it, parting ways with the Puna leeches, and looking for a copper/gold project. Lithium has proven to be too advanced for the current team running this company, and they will struggle bringing this back from where they've taken it.
There's still no talk of the elephant in the room... how a $25m cap company can get their hands on ~half a $billion give or take to progress with the expansion. It's obvious by now there will be no strategic, as promised long, long ago would happen when certain major milestones were met... Yet crickets...
TBH I think behind closed doors they are getting the paperwork out of the way (engineering etc) to add some additional value to the project, to get it ready for sale. They may get pennies to the dollar, but something is better than nothing.
