In addition, it emphasises the importance of transparent and responsible mining management in the province. The meeting took place in the conference room of the Copaipa Foundation, and was opened by the secretariat of Mining and Energy Romina Sassarini. Representatives of renowned mining companies participated, including Mansfield Minera SA, Ganfeng Lithium, Posco Argentina SAU, Eramine Sudamérica SA and Puna Mining SA.During the day, the participants had the opportunity to share perspectives, discuss challenges and highlight the opportunities that the mining industry presents for the economic and sustainable development of Salta. Transparency, social and environmental responsibility, as well as local economic benefits were key issues in the conversations.About the initiative, the legislators welcomed that the Government manages these spaces of dialogue and exchange with the actors of the mining sector to learn more about the dynamics of the activity because it ensures a more informed and collaborative mining management. The Mining Authority will continue to work with this premise to maintain an open channel of communication between all interested parties. It is planned to develop other information days by officials of the competent organisations in mining, environmental, legal, economic and cultural matters.
