lib mp accuses pm of 'lying', page-29

Chanel 7 sent a reporter to SPC to check out what was happening, in which case, the following.

The reporter went into Coles, and bought two tins of peaches of equal size, one a SPC product, the other, a "no name" Coles brand, made in South Africa. The SPC product cost $3.49, and the South African made one, $1.49.

Now, either SPC or Coles or both is profiteering wildly by selling the SPC product at $3.49 (assuming anyone will buy it), or SPC has such a hopeless business case that they are only able to make a 'reasonable' profit by selling the can of peaches at $3.49.

If this is the best that SPC can do, they should be allowed to go bankrupt.

    Anyone heard of Darwinism?
