With the Trade war developing with China, America needs a reliable supply chain for technology and materials. Novonix can provide this with their, Joint Venture with Coulometrics and the Graphite from the resource at Mount Dromedary in Queensland.
I wouldn't be surprised if they get more support from the American Government to further develop battery materials, in way of grants/low cost loans.
