IMO, the goal is to reef our democracy back from them. It was once a case that political sides fought each other. But now, the LNP has joined with undemocratic partners to place themselves in opposition to the democracy itself. Just as Trump and the Republicans have done in the US.

Thinking Australians exist on the left and right so it will likely take a unified effort of the centre/left and disaffected LNP voters to restore the integrity of our traditional democratic institutions and create a bulwark against the increasing financial power of oligarchs and corporations.

ICAC plus RC into the Fourth Estate but also we really need to look at our Separation of Powers (especially Legislative and Executive) and a Bill of Rights.
