Abbott gave far to much ground to the far right in the party, something they had never previously had now they feel entitlement & push their agenda as if that is the true party line. It makes it a hell hole for turnbull - sure he might be more to the left in some regards but is still far closer to centre than Abbott ever was. The far right back bench squeezing Turnbull must be a delight to ALP they're just biding time, government in waiting. Abbott killed the LNP in the face of an election Turnbull saved it but if far right keep a squeeze on Turnbull's tenure it's gifting the next election to Labor - they almost took this one but there was optisim amongst the Australian people Turnbull could turn around the horror of Abbott ---- they wont give it a chance a second time.
If & when LNP lose the next election i wouldn't be blaming it on Turnbull - look to your backbench.
