    1) you're considered second nation, as well as your children and grandchildren. Australia as we know it today was created on the land of the aboriginals who were living on it before.

    2) if your children marry a first nations person they will never be considered first nation. If your children have have kids with a first nations person, your grandchildren will be entitled to claim special benefits and tick special boxes that's reserved for indigenous people on all the forms for the rest of his/her life because they have aboriginal blood.
