Keating (the doyen of the Labor party managed to alienate 2 demographics
(a) the aged, many of which became R/Wing capitalists vis Super reinforced
. in 2019 election platform by Labor's then policy of scrapping Franking Credits
. and Negative Gearing
(b) Keating's privatisation of our SOEs (Telstra etc) saw these privatised entities
. sack their skilled "toolies" and re-employ them as contractors. The Howard
. Government completed their Labor to Lib conversion by offering them generous
. tax concessions which was followed through by the Abbott-Turnbull-Scomo governments.
. These tools now are RW Populists rather than previously being the prime movers
of the Trade Union Movement.

While those 'conversions" worked well for the Libs until recently, women's "Green"
issues, housing and the recent cost of living crisis is changing the Aus political
landscape in favour of the Greens and the "Teals" and a few Independents

All IMO only, and should this post distress those Big L Libs/RW Populists , then perhaps
they could join SchMo Inc at Hillsong and pray for a Miracle...eh?

Perhaps Albo and Co will have enough ammo left over after the Ukrainian War
donations to shoot themselves in the feet??!! (witty-witty-bang-bang)
