    agree - well put.

JFI - if you ever get nearby --------- I went to a most interesting cave a week or so back - I thought it better than Lascaux ---

    Pech Merle ------

there's a wall there outside the museum and cave - impossible to photograph and video doesn't do it justice at all -----

it's the wall in the pic below with the kid looking at it -------- it is the best message of information that both my gf and I've seen on the story of humans --

we didn't speak about it at all - until after we'd finished the visit - and I said to her - I really liked the wall ----------- and she said - 'me too' it was the best I've ever seen.

What was special about it was that it was a very long wall (far too long to have inside any building) - and it had on it - events - things we did in our story - and the power of the wall was to walk it - and what you find is there's a LOT of blank wall --

so, you get an event - and you walk to the next event - and so on. And early on there's not a lot to show - then, BOOM - we get into all kinds of stuff - we go from throwing sticks at things to the stone age and neolithic and the wall gets very busy

it's the big gaps of nothing that bring you the perspective.

Aside from that - the cave is the real deal. It's one of the few very good examples where the public are allowed into now - as opposed to the others with facsimilia

    Well well worth a visit
