Sky News Political Reporter Olivia Caisley says the Liberal Party is “failing” to act on advice to improve representation of women in parliament.Ms Caisley’s comments follow former MP Tim Wilson winning the preselection to become the Liberal Party’s candidate in his previous seat of Goldstein.“It kind of beggars belief why they’re sort of recycling the same male candidates when they’ve been told a repeated times you’ve got the various reviews telling the Liberal Party that they need to improve their representation when it comes to women in parliament,” she said.“They’re going backwards on this.“We’ve got retiring MPs being replaced by men.”
