That's being generous. There are already a good handful of companies on the ASX where share prices are truly depressed simply because the majority individual holder has ambitions to take the company private.
Then there are the various shorting and pump games played across the ASX by various funds, offshore any local. But this is all fine fine what's really needed is to nobble the only independent Australian players with any scale?
Do we want any decent Australian influence in our top companies or not because the large offshore players certainly have plenty. Why only limit the Australian funds?
