@stayer; Frydenberg almost lost the former blue ribbon seat of Kooyong at the 2019 Election. He relied on massive pork barrelling to get across the line - including promises to build car parks for rail commuters where there are no railway stations.
Since then Frydenberg's made an artform out of shafting Victorians and is openly mocked as the Treasurer for NSW as a consequence. He echoed strident criticism of the Andrews Government throughout the darkest days of the Covid Pandemic in an apparent attempt to ingratiate himself to people cranky about Covid restrictions etc.
The seat of Kooyong is now plastered with massive " Keep Josh " billboards and even the Liberal Party has confessed to already spending $2 Million to rescue him - a similar amount to what was wasted trying to rescue Mirabella in Indi in 2013.
