yes, but if you don't stand for much it seems u lose votes, left , right and centre, especially a centre right party
they caved to the Left on: marriage equality and didn't get religious freedom through cos of most of the ones losing seats to teals crossing the floor; Climate change targets; not balancing budget sooner; ABC funding; Financial and child abuse Royal Commissions; Labor Premiers and covid measures to some extent; reform of parliamentary work place; and they do not get any credit...even standing up to Tech giants, which Frydenberg mentioned in concession speech (but I hadn't heard all campaign) they got not an ounce of credit.
The Left just pocket any wins and demand more! Labor is a victim to this too to an extent with the Teals and Greens..."we'll meet that and raise you!!".....keeps happening
