Nope that's what he thinks. He thinks our society would be better if mum's stayed home and looked after the kids. He has stated that view elsewhere to his book that you are quoting. As it happens I think he has a point but it's not so easy these days with the present cost of housing and women who want to pursue careers of their own and start families later.
