yeah they belatedly acted 8 years into the drought to do something about it, by contracting for a high energy desal plant that cost 3 times as much per GL as other plants around the world, and built a north-south pipeline to steal water from northern Victoria
of course the drought is now over but Vic taxpayers will pay over $20bn over next couple of decades regardless
and they reduced crime by pressuring Overland to fudge crime figures just before the election
