    I agree. I also have immigrant parents who worked hard their whole lives, and didn’t come to Australia expecting to be latched on the taxpayer funded teat of social security. But while I agree with your observation about what sort of person votes for each of the Parties, the reality is we have a lot of naive young people who have been heavily propagandised into believe the nonsensical Labor-Greens economic policies. And we have an education system that is mostly biased to the Left, a mainstream media that is definitely Left-biased, and much of the social media platforms that are also pushing Woke, Leftist rubbish.
    in short, we have work to do to wake up alot of younger voters who just cannot see past the Watermelons fake ‘ Green’ veneer, and so never discover the radical, economy-destroying socialist policies they avoid talking about. And the same goes for most Labor policies- written by Woke, economic illiterates with no experience in the real world.
