I haven’t studied the new IR laws as they don’t affect me. The only one I can say I completely agree with is the employers right to hire and fire.
I see no reason why the employer should have less right to refuse further employment as compared to the employee’s right to refuse to offer their labour.
The current unfair dismissal situation is ridiculous and only protect the incompetent while they find alternative employment.
Oh and AWB thing … well Shultz was a nice guy and he certainly didn’t start any WAR! lol
