Most of the detainees got rid of their documents prior to entry - thus complicating the verification of claims.
Notice also how nearly all the illegal immigrants were male?
If it was that bad in their home country why leave behind their families?
We weren't hard enough imo.
Australia MUST defend it's borders.
We already do far more than our fair share with our immigration program.
