Dave R, just because 90% latter were allowed to stay in australia does not mean they were genuine refugees, it just means that they had a legal system that they could manipulate to allow them to stay or supporters who lobbied policticians symphatic to their needs that pressured others. I feel sorry for the real refugees, who did not have the means to fly to indonesia to pay a people smuggler to get them to australia
