ABC Lateline presenter Tony Jones was quoting from front page of tommorows Daily Telegraph newspaper that it was the local Labor Party members who followed the Liberar Party volunters distributing the offending Leaflets and took some of the photograps published in the paper. Specificaly they got the picture of Jackie Kelly's partner with the offensive leaflefts in his hands. He is using the leaflet to cover his face and the print is clearly visible. Jackie Kelly was a siting member in this seat - Lindsay - and she was retiring , not standing for re-election. This is clearly a scandal for the Libs and will cause them untold damage IMO. Having inqusitive mind Tony Jones was asking on the show and I think it is a valid question, how come the local Labor people happened to be there to catch the Libs with this highly explosive material. I can only speculate that someone in the Libs allerted Labor who called the journous and also got there themself. Reads like a script for a movie, does it not? Howard is to adrsess the National Press Club lunch tommorow and he will be asked question, I just can not wait to see how he will wrigle out of this shambles.He most likely did not know about this, but the when sh1t hits the fan, if flies everywhere and sticks.
