    Your premise is wrong.

    The biggest proportion of voters are aged under 40. And majority of the voters (68%) in live in city and inner suburbs.

    Young people and those living in cities care about things like climate change, women rights, minority rights, LGBT etc.

    If LNP continues to focus on rural areas and uneducated white men, they will never become major party.

    Dutton was at a disadvantage right off the bat by alienating women voters with WFH, that's 50% voters gone and then he made push for nuclear that alienated young people - the biggest proportion of voters.

    I said long time ago Dutton is a joke and have no chance, all the numbers are there. It is statistically impossible to become a mainstream party by appealing to a minority segment.

    LNP only chance to become a mainstream party is appeal to mainstream voters, those aged under 40s and living in city and inner suburbs and women. This mean they would be pro renewal energy and minority rights, in other words, become the ALNP.
