I think he will make it, and I think the coalition will romp it home.

But anything can happen in the next 3-4 months (anything after that would be too late) so let's see what happens.

I have been amazed that Gillard hasn't been dumped yet, the ALP caucus must be biting their fingernails off at the moment.

Self preservation is a very powerful motivator so one thing is for sure, this is going to be a very interesting year for Australian politics.
