    Go to Google Earth and punch in these coordinates;
    21° 5'41.81"S
    117°51'3.90"E

    This is roughly ~200m accurate on the Evelyn VMS.

    21° 4'0.60"S
    117°51'13.91"E

    This is roughly the Quormby VMS position.

    You will be able to see that there is a fold in the area. This is mostly sandstone; the core of darker rocks is a gabbro intrusion mapped at 1:100K on the Wohler Sheet by the GSWA. The GSWA has mapped the area at Evelyn as being part of this gabbro; field investigations suggest there is actually some ultramafic volcanics interfingering with the sandstones on the outside of the fold. These are te lavas which are forming the engine for the VMS deposit at Evelyn; Quormby could be a remobilised vein or something; there's certainly a nice gossan full of copper but no real outcrop to map.

    The conductors JUT have defined by VTEM sit basically within the contact zone between the ultramafic lavas and the sandstones (ie; the Evelyn position). They haven't been drilled. I would say that since they are not under cover, they represent real sulphide accumulations. Drilling is needed to test if these sulphides are copper, or just pyrite.

    There's about 2.75km os strike on the west limb of the fold, coincident with VTEM conductors and the contact between the ultramafics and the sandstones. From my research at DOIR, I don't think the area has been really mapped and not adequately sampled nor drilled. Its all wide open.

    There's another 3Km of exposed fold limb on the east limb. Again, not explored. I believe there's extensions under cover.

    All up, a nice package of land.

    Now, Evelyn, being hosted primarily in ultramafics, is an odd VMS - eg; Wikipedia says that most VMS's sit above a felsic footwall. Ultramafic vs Felsic is like chalk vs cheese as far as rocks go. So its an oddity; but that's also arguably why its not been drilled to buggery already. Odd things tend to avoid notice.

    So, thats your google earth field trip round Evelyn/Quormby. I'm not making a representation about the potential, nor the management, nor whether you should buy or not; this is just the geology.
