From a NXS position, what do you consider the chances of Shell using Songa V at Echuca; NXS currently in a farmout mode with the "wider Echuca".

The following is from the 2007 Shell / NXS Agreement.. in part>>
Shell and Nexus Finalise Farm-in Agreement for Appraisal of the Echuca Shoals Gas Discovery
Shell will make a US$5 million cash payment to Nexus Energy WA377P following receipt of regulatory approvals for the Farm-in Agreement and finalisation of the terms of a Joint Operating Agreement and will fund the first US$30 million of Echuca Shoals-2, the first appraisal well. Shell has the right to fund the first US$25 million of a second appraisal well to retain a 34% interest in the entire Echuca Shoals permit.

(I wondering if the following may influence a SV Drill in Echuca?)

***Shell will forgo rights to any hydrocarbons in the WA-377-P permit outside a specified area of approximately 90 square kilometres (“Minimum Farm-in Area” shown in the map below) if a well is drilled in this area without Shell’s participation, following a decision by Shell not to fund the first US$25 million of the second appraisal well.

If Shell's bigger picture plan is to add an FLNG to the numerous holes they have drilled at the adjoining Prelude field, then maybe a pipe run from Crux with a tie-in to Echuca is part of their LNG plan.

More than probable these issues are part of current discussions with NXS ..
